The first time when I read the pictures of the marriage of John Barrowman and Scott Gill is in a thread at Tianya, a famous BBS in China, in which many said they were the gay couple in fantasy. Though I agree that they're handsome, I didn't pay much attention til recently I've read an essay about Torchwood, in which John Barrowman is as Captain Jack.
Despite I'm always interestless of Sci-Fic drama, being curious about the complicated relationships- man with woman, man with man,woman with woman, human with Alien and so on- made me watched a few episodes. Torchwood is the series a Doctor Who spin-off, and the word "Torchwood" is just the anagram of "Doctor Who". But being a Sci-Fic Drama, its production's really humble if compared with the similar American ones. Meanwhile, the range of UK drama is much wider and the theme of it is more creative. By the way, I have to say that the BBC is so stingy that the visitor outside UK couldn't watch BBC - Torchwood - Homepage, which reminds me the same thing had happened at Showtime. Though Showtime had already stopped such stupid deeds- didn't them know we're all the potential customers, the bad influence still carried on.
When watching Torchwood, I recognize John Barrowman is the man I read at Tianya a few months ago. So I went to John Barrowman Official Site and found the report on OK! Magazine there- The 'Torchwood' star and his partner Scott Gill seal their union in a civil partnership – with a few surprises thrown in! . To my astonishment, John Barrowman is 39 and Scott Gill is 43 in the marriage picture, which made me difficult to believe with such young look! Isn't the Caucasian easier to become old than other races? Maybe the exception's the only explanation to them two. And even more, the relationship between them is as long as 13 years, which is quite few in gay relationship in my opinion.
